It was a beautiful moment. Yesterday, the humans came home and it was time for them to allow the dogs out. Luke was out like a shot–and running around with reckless abandon.<\/p>\n

Watching Luke run around the quadrangle from house to house was pure joy. There are few things which can make a person experience joy better than a dog running from house to house looking for his buddies. And that was what Luke was in the process of doing.<\/p>\n

He bounded from one house to another giving out little canine yelps until the humans inside each house come to their doors to investigate. With them, of course, came their dog-friends also to see what was going on.<\/p>\n

One by one, the humans grinned and opened the door to let their dogs out to play. It was the most amazing thing to see. After a while, five more dogs were on the quad running around with reckless abandon.<\/p>\n

While the human owners talked at length about their days, work, school, important things, life in general, and trivia; the dogs ran with pure joy. They ran in circles, they ran the length of the quadrangle and across.<\/p>\n

They had no agenda, no plans, no worries, and no concerns about what happened moments ago, or would happen in the near future. They were living as pure in the moment as possible.<\/p>\n

Occasionally, something strange would happen. Luke kind of looked at the others and somehow said, “Follow me!” and then he led all of his friends into his house past his humans to share his food and water bowls. After a moment, they all bounded back into the quad almost knocking over the humans standing near the door.<\/p>\n

Then it was back into the yard for another couple of more laps until they got thirsty again. Then it was into another open door to a couple of other food and water bowls.<\/p>\n

While the dogs lived life for the moment, the humans were concerned with important matters. Some of the talk was frivolous, some of it was important. Some of it didn’t matter, some did.<\/p>\n

It was wonderful watching the dogs. They were having so much fun.<\/p>\n
