This landing page\u00a0will give me a chance to better serve you, the readers.\u00a0I have different interests and as such, I find myself writing about many things. My mainstays are aviation and writing (imagine that). Sometimes, life in general, gets me going, especially when there is something in the news that is absurd, strange, or extremely newsworthy. Don’t just read what I have written – respond! Make a comment! Start a discussion. That is one of the reasons for this blog – to share ideas. Here are my latest half-dozen or so blogs:<\/p>\n

Every Now and Then<\/strong><\/a><\/em>. Sometimes, in the middle of the night, I find myself needing to read, research, and write.<\/p>\n

New Portrait<\/strong><\/em><\/a>. Often, we are resistant to change. It is part of the human condition, but change is good for us. It is the only way we advance.<\/p>\n

Oak Trees<\/a> <\/strong><\/em>–\u00a0Often I have said, \u201cI am busier than a one-legged sailor in an ass-kicking contest.\u201d It is not an excuse; it is merely one reason I have not been writing as often as I should.<\/p>\n

As Arnold said, \u201cI\u2019ll Be Back!\u201d<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/span> I have been away from writing for too long a time. There were many reasons for this, but all that has kept me away from the blog has been or is about to be rectified.<\/p>\n

One Man\u2019s Story<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/em>. Ed Jackel lived an amazing life. As with many, when he was young he had difficulty because of world events. But he overcame, lived well, and wrote about it.<\/p>\n

Engine Failure on Takeoff<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/span>. Probably the most feared and dangerous place to have an engine failure: right after takeoff and below a safe altitude.<\/p>\n

A Blog for the Young<\/a><\/span>.<\/strong><\/em> Many young people are fearless; it is something that “comes with the territory.” The thing about this fearlessness is that it can come with quite a price.<\/p>\n
